United Nations Cooperation Framework for Sustainable Development 2023-2027

The 2023-2027 Cooperation Framework, prepared jointly by the Brazilian Government and the United Nations System in Brazil, constitutes the main instrument for planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating UN activities in support of Brazil for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The Cooperation Framework reflects the contributions of the United Nations System to the country, organizing the actions of specialized agencies, funds and programmes around national guidelines for sustainable development and common results, with a view to leaving no one behind.
For the 2023-2027 program cycle, 21 specialized agencies, funds and programmes will be directly involved in implementing and monitoring the Cooperation Framework.

The current Cooperation Framework 2023-2027 was signed by the Brazilian government and the United Nations on August 1, 2023, during the visit of UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed to the country.
